Alkmene apple variety is also known as ‘Ceeval and ‘Red Windsor’. This highly regarded Cox’s pippin cross variety is grown commercially all over Europe under its various names. It is very similar to Cox in taste and appearance. Good scab resistance. We highly recommended this variety for those who want to grow a Cox with less of the problems.
